Measures announced to Save London's Iconic Black Cab Industry
FREENOW UK is offering financial support to London Private Hire Vehicle drivers to become black cab drivers by funding the application cost, tuition fees, exams, and licensing.
A survey conducted by FREENOW revealed that over half of PHV drivers have considered becoming black cab drivers, and many believe the Knowledge should be made simpler and take less time.
This initiative aims to address the decline in black cab license applications and the decrease in the number of licensed black cab drivers in London. [ more ]
